One of our favorite ways to spread the message of Life is through our information booths at community events. In this comfortable setting, people are often more open to conversation and information. We go the extra mile to have fun attractions for the children, like face painting and balloon twisting, which then provides an opportunity to talk with parents about our many student activities, contests, educational seminars, etc. Adults and children alike are fascinated by our fetal models and intrigued as we describe the babies’ development and activity even before birth. They leave with a new enthusiasm for God’s gift of life and with information to share with others we will never meet!
On Monday, November 19, we have an exciting opportunity to man a booth at the upcoming Faithfest in Conroe, TX. Faithfest was started by a small group of local Christian leaders who believed it was important for our community to join together and enjoy one another through praise and worship of Jesus. By getting to know each other better, we will make our community a better place! Well-known singer, Matt Maher, will be the featured artist. He will be joined by Josh Blakesly, and local artists Chad and Wade, and Jake Black. Proceeds will benefit Compassion United and St. Vincent de Paul of Conroe. Visit Faith-Fest.com for tickets and information.
So come out for an evening of praise as we head into Thanksgiving week, and be sure and drop by our booth! If you would like to volunteer with our Community Booths – maybe even to learn face painting and balloon twisting, please call 281-900-8209 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
