Reading Time: 2 minutes

Dear Pro-Life Families,

Due to the disruptions caused by Hurricane Harvey, we have extended the deadlines for two upcoming contests. Both the Poster and Essay contests originally had registration deadlines of November 1st.  We know families have been facing a lot of challenges in getting back to their normal routine for school and other activities, so we felt a deadline extension would allow more students to participate.  We want as many families as possible to have an opportunity to use the contests as great tools for important conversations about the value of each life.

The Essay Contest registration deadline is now December 1st, which gives students an extra month to prepare.  The Poster Contest entries will be due on January 8th.  This  will provide students time during the Christmas school break to work on their artistic expressions of the value of life.  What a great holiday project as we celebrate the birth and life of Christ!

Every year, we are so blessed by the essays and posters students work so hard on!  As you know, we believe these contests help them articulate and visualize the value of life from conception to natural death.  Also, the entries themselves help us promote the Pro-Life message directly to our culture as we display them!

We hope you and your family are safe and recovering from Hurricane Harvey and we look forward to receiving your students’ entries.
