Frisbee for Life Tournament

Pro-Life Timberwolves, led by MCRTL Pro-Life scholarship recipients, Abigail Bumsted and Levi Robison, is off to a tremendous start!  In just the first few weeks of the school term Abigail and Levi have already applied for and been approved as a sanctioned campus club for the Lone Star College – Tomball campus! This past weekend, October 14, they also hosted a Frisbee for Life tournament to raise support for club activities and to establish a scholarship for pregnant or parenting women on their campus.

Seven teams, comprised of about 75 young adults, participated in the Ultimate Frisbee tournament.  Ultimate Frisbee is a fast-paced, growing sport. Teams came from Tomball, The Woodlands, Montgomery, Conroe, Spring, and even Pasadena. The double elimination tournament featured a full day of ultimate frisbee, event t-shirts for each participant, and a full lunch. Montgomery County Right to Life had a table set up to further inform players about the fight for life going on in our country.

The tournament champions were Spring Creek Ascension. For more information about Pro-Life Timberwolves visit their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/prolifetimberwolves
