At May’s Monthly Meeting we will get equipped for very important work!  Saving lives and averting heartache through prayer and ministry outside Planned Parenthood.

Why pray and minister outside Abortion Facilities?

Prayer changes things!  God exhorts us that we have not because we ask not.  So let’s ask for the lives of the unborn to be spared, for the young women and men in a crisis pregnancy to be encouraged, and for the hearts and minds of abortion workers to be opened.

Why pray at abortion facilities?  If we want to help the homeless, we need to go to the homeless.  If we want to feed the hungry, we go to the hungry.  So too, if we are to minister to those facing a crisis pregnancy, we need to go where many of them are – to Planned Parenthood, etc.  By being on-site we not only are accomplishing things spiritually through our prayers but we have the added opportunity to minister directly to hurting people at their point of need and decision.

Sidewalk counseling is not difficult!  It is simply being the demonstrated love of God outside abortion facilities – offering prayer and pointing folks toward the real help that can be found at our area pregnancy care centers.

Katie Van Dyke with Speak for the Unborn will be our speaker.  Speak for the Unborn equips local churches to be voices for life in their communities. Through winsome, gospel-centered sidewalk counseling, and formative discipleship, S4U Network Churches seek to bring hope to those in need.
