Montgomery County Right to Life realizes the importance of preparing and giving voice to our next generation. We sponsor student contests, support Pro-Life camps, and provide Pro-Life college scholarships.
We encourage every family and student to participate in our Pro-Life contests. The contests are not academic exercises but rather are conversation starters between students and adults – be they the parents, teachers, or pastors depending upon the contest setting. As these conversations take place multiple generations – both the adults and the students – are in fact equipped to communicate why every innocent life should be respected and protected. There is a great ripple effect to even contest participant siblings and grandparents as the contest conversations take place.
We have contests open to various age groups from 2nd grade up to young adult. Our Pro-Life contests are open to residents of Montgomery, Grimes, Harris, Liberty, San Jacinto, Walker, or Waller counties in Texas. Scholarship awards are generous –$1000 first prize for both the Oratory Contest and Video Contest! Many of the contests also have opportunities to take the same entry and compete further in the corresponding National Right to Life contests.
Below is information regarding each of our MCRTL contests and our other student outreaches. We can’t wait to hear from our future advocates!
