Video Contest

Watch the following promotional video featuring one of the contest winners.

The Video Contest is open annually to any student or amateur film maker ages 15-25, who is a resident of Montgomery, Harris, Grimes, Walker, Liberty, Waller, San Jacinto, or Fort Bend counties. The film can be from 30 seconds to 3 minutes in length. Each film must affirm in some way―even indirectly:

“Why laws need to protect innocent human life.”

1st Place = $1000  2nd Place = $500  3rd Place = $250

MCRTL began the Video Contest because we recognized the importance of having a strong message for life on YouTube and throughout social media.  Each year the videos do just that.

Our local participants have also done well in the national competition.  In 2014, 2015, and 2017 MCRTL Video Contest students went on to win the NRLC Video Contest. We have some great local talent!

Students may further submit their entries to the National Right to Life Video Contest.  At the national level contest, the top 3 finalists have their videos entered into the LifeFest Film Festival in Hollywood, California.

We encourage you to participate in this year’s 2019-20 contest which will launch at the start of the fall school term!

Please print and share our 2019-20 flyer!
