Montgomery County Right to Life is proud to announce that the Lone Star College campus in Tomball now has a campus-sanctioned Pro-Life club! Abigail Bumsted and Levi Robison, our newest Dr. Joseph Graham Pro-Life Fellows, worked hard to submit the necessary documents, list of interested students, recruit a faculty sponsor, etc. in order to become an official organization.  Pro-Life Timberwolves is now launched and fully sanctioned!

Pro-Life Timberwolves hit the ground running by hosting an Ultimate Frisbee tournament October 14 to raise support for club activities and to establish a scholarship for pregnant or parenting women on their campus. More information about the tournament is below. We are so excited to see how God is already using the club to make an impact on campus and in the community!

Pro-Life Timberwolves’ mission statement is:  Our mission is to protect innocent human life from conception until natural death. To further these goals, members promote a respect for life at Lone Star – Tomball and the surrounding community by peacefully standing against abortion and euthanasia.

This is what MCRTL’s Pro-Life scholarship program is all about.  We are seeing ministry in action on our local college campuses through the work of these students.  MCRTL’s vision is to sponsor Dr. Joseph Graham Fellows on each of the area Lone Star College campuses.

We hope you all will show your support by liking and following their club Facebook page at: Pro-Life Timberwolves.

Frisbee for Life Tournament

Seven teams, comprised of about 75 young adults, participated in the Frisbee for Life tournament.  Teams came from Tomball, The Woodlands, Montgomery, Conroe, Spring, and even Pasadena. The double elimination tournament featured a full day of Ultimate Frisbee, event t-shirts for each participant, and a full lunch. Montgomery County Right to Life had a table set up to further inform players about the fight for life going on in our country.

The tournament champions were Spring Creek Ascension!
